Buck Rogers 1960-2024
Mr. Donald "Buck" Rogers age 63 of Martin died Monday, June 3, 2024, at his home.
Funeral service will be Friday, June 7, 2024, 11:00 A.M. at Murphy Funeral Home with Rev. Terry Griffin, Rev. Kylan Mann and Keith Pettit officiating. Burial will follow in East Side Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, June 6, 2024, from 4:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M. at Murphy Funeral Home, or after 10:00 A.M. on Friday until service time.
Pallbearers are Mason Rogers, Avery Rogers, Giovanni Jaramillo, Zach Taylor, Logan Taylor and Sam Rogers. Honorary Pallbearers are Alexis Jaramillo, Kenzi Bowlin, Hailey Rogers, Adrianna Jaramillo, Sophie Bowlin, Allie Rogers, Atlantis Taylor and Jax Rogers.
Mr. Rogers is survived by his wife, Kathy Taylor Rogers; two sons, Jacob (Hannah) Rogers of Troy, TN and Jered (Rita) Rogers of Martin; two daughters, Kayla (Johnny) Jaramillo of Martin and Starr Rogers of Kennett, MO; his father, Jerry Dean Rogers of Martin; three brothers, Derry (Charlotte) Rogers and John (Kim) Rogers both of Martin and Bobbie (Nancy) Rogers of Trenton, TN; his sister-in-law, Barbara Rogers of Martin; 13 grandchildren, Mason Rogers, Jax Rogers, Hailey Rogers, Avery Rogers, Allie Rogers, Atlantis Taylor, Alexis Jaramillo, Kenzi Bowlin, Adrianna Jaramillo, Sophie Bowlin, Giovanni Jaramillo, Jade Rogers and Markus Rogers; one great-grandchild, Ziela Rogers.
Buck was a retired locksmith for The University of Tennessee at Martin. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge #90, Dresden, TN and was a member of Central Baptist Church in Martin.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Linda L. Rogers; his brother, David Rogers.
