With the same donated money, parks and rec took bids for scoreboards for pit one and two. These would be newer models and slightly bigger than the previous. The last item Fulcher spoke on was regarding quotes for work on fields which Fulcher said needed labor to finish it and materials. Fulcher received a quote on labor in two different jobs and a quote for materials. Each material correlates with that specific job.
Labor for job one would be to install the clay material till and roll. The quote from Lads Athletics Field Services for $3,150. This was approved unanimously.
Job two would be to come in and add in the finishing material and laser grade it up to an eighth of an inch by Lads Athletics Field Services and the cost of that will be $4,400. The board approved this unanimously.
The materials for each of those jobs comes from Advanced Quest Solutions. Job one will be for the diamond mix clay product with a cost of $4,420. For job two, the materials would be the plan service material that will be laser graded and the cost of that was $2,950. The board also approved this unanimously.
Fulcher stated that the department did account for this when they did their budget so this would be no extra cost.
