NWTNEDC of Weakley County commodity Food Distribution dates are as follows:
Dates are scheduled by the first letter of your last name. Please come on your assigned date.
M – Z: October 16 from 9 – 12 only.
A – L: October 17 from 9 – 12 only.
You must have your BLUE card to pick up commodity food. You must follow the MAP you received when you signed up for commodities.
If you are not signed up with the BLUE card, you will need to wait until Thursday, October 17 from 1 – 2 only to come in and sign up and possibly receive a commodity food box. This is on a first come, first served basis.
To sign up on Thursday, October 17, you will need your 2024 income for a month, for the whole household, ID and proof of address.
Eligibility is based on total gross household income not in excess of the state-established maximum percentage of the poverty guidelines for the appropriate household size. If you or anyone in the household are receiving aid from one of the following programs, Supplemental Nutrition Assistance (SNAP), Families First, Supplemental Security Income (SSI), Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program or lives in public housing, you must provide documentation of such assistance.
