Westview Beta Club Takes Home Awards

Westview Beta Club sent 27 members to participate in the TN State Beta Convention from Nov 16-18 at Opryland Hotel and Convention Center.

Westview Beta's Marketing and Communications Team placed 5th, Quiz Bowl Team placed first, Speech Division 2- placed 2nd, Hand-drawn Anime Division 2- placed 4th, Creative Writing Division 1- placed 5th, Social Studies 11^th grade- placed 2nd, Performing Arts Solo, Duo, Trio dancer- placed 5th and Onsite Art Drawing Division 1- placed 1st.

The Quiz Bowl team will take a preliminary test in early May 2024 to determine the top 8 teams which will advance to the finals at the National Convention.

The remaining 1st-5^th place winners listed above automatically advance to compete for placements at the National Beta Convention which will be held from June 16-19 in Savannah, GA.   Westview Beta is looking for community sponsors to help them get students to Savannah this summer.
